Framed Print of Spanien - Land und Leute
Man hat viele Stunden zu tun, um alle die Köstlichkeiten zu betrachten, die die Alhambra bietet. Wir wollen aber hier bei dem sogenannten äzierlichen Tori von der Alhambra in Granada Abschied nehmen und nur noch derer gedenken, denen die Welt dieses Bauwunder zu danken hat. Begonnen worden ist mit dem Bau schon im 9. Jahrhundert von arabischen Fürsten, die hauptsächlichste Bauarbeit aber fällt in die Zeit von 1400 1500. Um 1400 war der größte Teil von Spanien schon wieder im Besitz der Christen. Als letzter Rest ehemaligen Glanzes bestand nur noch das maurische Königreich Granada im heutigen Andalusien. Und die letzten dieses Herrscherhauses sind die eigentlichen Erbauer der Alhambra gewesen. Jedenfalls förderten sie den Bau nach besten Kräften, trotzdem sie eigentlich ihren Untergang vor Augen sahen, denn das sie auf ihrem nur noch kleinen Besitz einmal von den geeinten übermächtigen Spaniern vernichtet werden würden, mußte ihnen sicher klar sein und so ist auch gewesen.

Wood effect frame, card mounted, 10x8 fade resistant photo print. Overall outside dimensions 14x12 inches (36x31cm). Environmentally and ozone friendly, 40mm wide x 15mm Polycore® moulding has the look of real wood, is durable and light and easy to hang. Biodegradable and made with non-chlorinated gases (no toxic fumes) it is efficient; producing 100 tons of polystyrene can save 300 tons of trees! Prints are glazed with lightweight, shatterproof, optical clarity acrylic (providing the same general protection from the environment as glass). The back is stapled hardboard with a sawtooth hanger attached. Note: measurements provided are estimated outer dimensions, which include both the image and the frame.
